What a Venue this is...

What a venue this is!

28th March

This really is a magnificent venue, very grand, luxurious and opulent.
With a wopping 29 bedrooms each bespoke.
7 exquisite large,  bright reception rooms.
A library.
A pub, I say a pub rather then a bar as it is really has a pub feel.
27 acres of grounds.

The twist with this event is that it is NOT a group shoot.
The venue is so large we just wouldn't have chance to cover it all.
There is plenty of room for everyone without getting in anyone's way.

How the day will run:

The venue is in Kingston Upon Hull

You will have a full day at the venue for £70pp

You can please yourself around the venue shooting lingerie & Fashion.

You can bring alone your own model or I can arrange this for you (please message me for info & prices)

Please get in touch to book your place.

So how does the story go?

Well that is up to you...

It will start at 10am on the 5th March & will finish at 17:30

You will be working with a max of 4 photographers in one group.

It will cost £135pp

The designers are to be confirmed but the styling will be styled to compliment the theme.

If you want to book a place you need to get in touch asap as this will sell out fast.

Now I have been asked about the weather??
I'm sorry but I can not control the weather (wish I could) and as you can see from the venue and from the mood board an outside location is what it lends it self to.

But:

There is an inside space for the models to change and to grab a warm drink.

The lady who owns the venue assures me it is VERY dry there and they seem to miss a lot of the rain.

There are now things called umbrella's

You can also purchase a waterproof camera cover for less then £5!

I would also suggest if shooting in bad weather is not for you then frankly your in the wrong Country.

Also another question that has been raised.

Will the animals poo?
How are the animals going to feel having their picture taken?

Yes the animals might well have an accident, they are REAL animals.

The animals being used are from a professional company where the animals have been used many times for photoshoots, TV and film so you could say they will be the most professional ones there.

I think I have asked the questions that I know have been bugging some of you, if you do have any questions please feel free to message me.

Thanks
Vicky

De Grey Rooms

De Grey Rooms was the first big event of 2016 and what a fantastic way to kick the year off.

The venue was as perfect as I had remembered, beautiful large space with chandeliers, beautiful fireplaces and huge windows which looked out on to the art gallery.

I knew the venue would be perfect for two fabulous art nude models I had in mind some statue poses and also some extravagant, dramatic poses. I sent the models a list as long as my arm with inspirational images, some/most I did not think they would be able to pull off completely.
How wrong was I?!

Scarlett Foxett is one of my favorite art nude models with what seems to be a endless supply of fantastic poses but she still managed to shock me when she pulled out her point shoes and could effortlessly stand on point while creating some very dramatic poses.

Aurelia is another favorite art nude model of mine such elegance but with an undeniable strength. This lady is like a human bambii jumping 4ft in the air with ease and grace.

Both the models are friendly, funny and just a complete pleasure to work with. They knew how to make the most of the venue and that they really did. They worked together as a perfect unit and worked hard as a team to create poses that the photographers wanted.

The images I have seen so far from this day really are fabulous and I feel very proud to have been part of producing such work.

Again we were also extremely lucky with such a fab group of photographers always friendly, chatty, professional. They always arrive with ideas of their own but are also happy to listen to suggestions. It makes the day a complete joy to work with such professionals.

Please remember to tag all involved in the making of the images inc exposure events when posting images.

I got asked again o the day and since about modelling myself and for those that don't know I am in semi retirement from modelling. At the min I have not been too well so this is down to no modelling at all for a while then  I shall be back but only occasionally and for jobs I have already booked in for for jobs that really take my fancy. I will not be modelling for the events I am running as I can't physically be in two places at once and often at these events I am running back and forwards between all the models making sure they are happy as are the photographers. Hope you all understand and in no way take this as a criticism of yourselves or your work this was decided before.

Thanks
Vicky

Middleton Lodge BTS

Hiya Everyone

So the absolutely wonderful Dave Edwards has sent me across some of the BTS pics that were taken on the fabulous day we had at Middleton Lodge. Dave worked tirelessly helping me plan and run around on the day making sure everyone was happy and had what they needed.

The designer was the amazing Elite Bridal Outlets (if you have images from the day please send them to the designer)

The models were:
Jordan Middlebrook
Loula Belle
Rebecca Geldard
Hollie Lingard

It really was a brilliant day and I was pleased with the styling and the models.
Can't wait for more days like this.

Thanks
Vicky

2016 update

Hiya Everyone

I hope you all had a merry Christmas and a fabulous new year!

2016 is looking like a great year with events. The first being a smaller group shoot at York Photo Studio "The lady in lace" the lady being Scarlett Foxett.
The first big event of 2016 is "De Grey Rooms" which is next weekend more information can be found of course on the website www.exposureeventsuk.co.uk or the facebook page.

I have some more amazing models on board for some up coming events (exciting times).

I am sorry I have been quiet I have not had the best start to 2016 personally but looking forward to the events.

A couple of points to remember please:

  • If you have booked on to a big event, booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been received and the remaining money is due no later then two weeks prior to the event.

  • The whole point of the events/group shoots is to create beautiful images (and of course socialize) Please remember to tag or put in comments everyone involved in creating the image. Networking is very important and saves anyone getting upset.

  • Please let anyone you think would be interested in attending any of the events know about them and get them to get in touch with me, the more people involved the better.

I'm looking forward to meeting those of you who I haven't had chance to meet yet and work with you all.

Thank you
Vicky
