De Grey Rooms was the first big event of 2016 and what a fantastic way to kick the year off.
The venue was as perfect as I had remembered, beautiful large space with chandeliers, beautiful fireplaces and huge windows which looked out on to the art gallery.
I knew the venue would be perfect for two fabulous art nude models I had in mind some statue poses and also some extravagant, dramatic poses. I sent the models a list as long as my arm with inspirational images, some/most I did not think they would be able to pull off completely.
How wrong was I?!
Scarlett Foxett is one of my favorite art nude models with what seems to be a endless supply of fantastic poses but she still managed to shock me when she pulled out her point shoes and could effortlessly stand on point while creating some very dramatic poses.
Aurelia is another favorite art nude model of mine such elegance but with an undeniable strength. This lady is like a human bambii jumping 4ft in the air with ease and grace.
Both the models are friendly, funny and just a complete pleasure to work with. They knew how to make the most of the venue and that they really did. They worked together as a perfect unit and worked hard as a team to create poses that the photographers wanted.
The images I have seen so far from this day really are fabulous and I feel very proud to have been part of producing such work.
Again we were also extremely lucky with such a fab group of photographers always friendly, chatty, professional. They always arrive with ideas of their own but are also happy to listen to suggestions. It makes the day a complete joy to work with such professionals.
Please remember to tag all involved in the making of the images inc exposure events when posting images.
I got asked again o the day and since about modelling myself and for those that don't know I am in semi retirement from modelling. At the min I have not been too well so this is down to no modelling at all for a while then I shall be back but only occasionally and for jobs I have already booked in for for jobs that really take my fancy. I will not be modelling for the events I am running as I can't physically be in two places at once and often at these events I am running back and forwards between all the models making sure they are happy as are the photographers. Hope you all understand and in no way take this as a criticism of yourselves or your work this was decided before.
Thanks
Vicky
